Accelero is an online platform that enhances students’ exam preparation, world readiness, extracurricular performance and future planning through a range of interactive tools, courses and online resources. The best part? It’s all affordable.
Accelero was founded by graduates from the University of Cambridge who knew that educational provision in secondary schools desperately needed an overhaul. Whilst volunteering for social mobility organisations, they realised that assistance with future-readiness (such as aid with, amongst other things, university applications) rarely made it to those who needed the help most, with most initiatives for state schools falling at the lap at those “in the know”. On the other hand, they noticed that high-achieving (frequently independent) schools were spending extortionate fees on various preparation services in order to deliver the premium education experience that they had committed themselves to. Within these observations, one thing became obvious: the education sector was ready for something that would deliver a premium education experience at accessible, non-premium costs.
Since its initial setup, Accelero has gone from strength to strength. Once initially only providing future readiness guidance (through guides on university admissions, optimising study techniques and wellness in young people), we have now developed a far more diverse offering, with a wide range of interactive tools and courses that equip students with the resources they need to become well-rounded, successful 21st century citizens.
